C1 State Awareness Exercise

Eva shows distractedness when she enters the waiting room. When the receptionist hands her forms, Eva has trouble concentrating and does not finish the forms. Every time the door opens, Eva looks up with a quick startle response.  She becomes restless waiting and starts rocking back and forth. Then she stands up, beginning to pace back and forth. She is increasingly irritable, thrusts the incomplete forms back at the receptionist and says in a rapid, loud voice, “I’ve been waiting here for over a half hour and I can’t wait any longer!”
